We take immense pride in sharing the inspiring journey of our founder, Haider Al-Zaidi, affectionately known to everyone as Papa. At age 11, Papa sold scrap bikes he found on the streets to support his family. His relentless work ethic led him to open a flea market spot, selling bikes, vacuums, and other items. Over time, his business grew, expanding to three spots and a rented storage room. Papa soon discovered that windows, doors, and cabinets were his most profitable items so he shifted his focus to prioritize those products. He had always dreamed of opening a store where he could sell the products he loved. This dream was actualized in August of 2022 when the current Papa Shop Store was opened. Papa’s commitment to hard work, evident in his seven-day work week and hands-on approach, is the cornerstone of our success. His journey from selling scrap bikes to owning a thriving business reflects the dedication and core values we uphold at Papa Shop.

Papa Shop wouldn't be where it is today without our partner and co-founder, Ali Papa. Our partnership with Ali began with a simple conversation at a flea market in May of 2020 and has since grown into a flourishing collaboration. Ali has been a transformative force for our team. From managing employees to establishing relationships with local suppliers, he has been an invaluable asset. Following our store's relocation in August of 2022, Ali took charge of our financial operations and leveraged his expertise to build business connections both locally and globally. Ali's dedication to Papa Shop is evident in everything he does, and his contributions are truly noteworthy.
